Round Top - Here we come!

After months of keeping this a secret, we are so excited to finally announce that we purchased a house in Round Top, our home away from home!

AND WE'RE MAKING A B&B!! Can you say, “Road trip!”? In just a few short months, you and your family and friends can lodge at our quaint Round Top Farmhouse to relax and refresh, and shop of course!

And, now for those history buffs out there, here’s a little overview of how the house came to be:

The Burklebach family decided to call this place home in the early 1900s. They first built the house across the street on what is now Fant Ranch territory, and the Nizsche family moved in in 1927 and loved the home well for nearly 80 years. When the couple passed, the house was purchased and moved to its present location.

The new owner spent months carefully reconfiguring, remodeling, and resurrecting the home to bring it to modern standards. Keeping the original tin, long leaf pine floors, beams, walls, and ceilings, the home boasts both a beautiful exterior and interior. The present kitchen, originally a bachelor or visitor room, was formerly separate from the house, but is now connected for an open layout!
